Visual Journaling
An inspirational collage journal for discovery, even if you don't draw.
We will lay down color to reflect a mood, an idea, or feeling. Paste an image,
add more color, doodle, write over, add more color, glue something on top,
obscure, cut away. Does a theme emerge? A pattern of meaning? A metaphor
that you hadn't noticed before? It's all about discovery.
Each week we will explore art techniques and themes. This is a great
activity to enhance other artforms or to sort out personal goals/issues.
Bring a journal if you have one already, images you have saved or a
magazine you can cut, and a shoe box. To register or inquire, please
call (231) 929-8101 or email us.
